当研究室でのインターンシップを終えたOmarさんから、レポートが届きました！4月から9月までの約5ヶ月間、お疲れ様でした。
We have received a report from Omar who has completed his internship in our lab! Thank you very much for your hard work over the five months from April to September.

One day in the institute of optics, I met Tom who told me about the Ohmori group and how good it was, at a later time I met chew san who was visiting France and we had some interesting exchange, I then had a call with sylvain and decided to Japan we go.

The group dynamics is very encouraging, even though there are many foreigners you don’t feel isolated. There are many group meetings and side activities like python and journal clubs, so you don’t feel lost.

I have a little perfectionist inside of me, so I was kind of frustrated at the beginning when I was failing but thanks to the help of tamura san and others I could improve my experimental skills and bring my project to success.

I liked Okazaki’s calm life and its people’s niceness. My favorite place is the river that passes not too far from the lab. A little walk or riding the bike by it is very calming, the best moment was probably when I swam around midnight while watching the constellations move through the sky.

Finally, my stay was very pleasant thanks to all the members of the Ohmori group, I am grateful for the efforts done by everyone to make the Ohmori group a good place to do research.
