We hosted the “Waseda-IMS bootcamp on neutral-atom quantum technology” at the Ohmori Laboratory.

We held the “Waseda-IMS bootcamp on neutral-atom quantum technology” hosted by the Ohmori Laboratory, on April 8 (Wed)–9 (Thu).

We welcomed a total of 23 participants, including Prof. Fukuhara, Prof. Aoki, and students from Waseda University, for a laboratory tour. During the visit, we introduced the research on neutral-atom quantum computers currently being conducted in the doctoral program at the Ohmori Laboratory.

In addition, Dr. Tomita gave an overview of neutral-atom quantum computing, followed by a Q&A session, project introductions, and presentations by Makino and students from the Ohmori Laboratory on their research activities and daily life in the lab. Through these sessions, we were able to deepen交流 and foster active interaction with the participants.
